Hi, there. It’s great to meet you.
I began my career as a professor of design. Teaching afforded me the opportunity to solve strategic creative problems and to connect with people through storytelling and sharing truths. After more than a decade of teaching, I decided to take a risk, leave tenure, and dive into the world of marketing and branding agencies. Over this last decade, I have worked as a creative director and helped to shape the marketing visions of many iconic brands—directing work that ranges from campaigns, to identities, to activations—all while still finding novel answers and seeking the truth.
I am also fascinated by business, finance, and mathematics and the effects of creativity on those fields. In 2023 I completed my second master’s degree, (an MBA from The University of Notre Dame—Go Irish!) while I served as the full-time Executive Creative Director of a branding and marketing agency headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio (Hyperquake). My experiences have taught me that I love solving problems and live for fast-paced creative collaborations.
My Latest Endeavor: SolvStat
In 2023, I founded SolvStat in Cincinnati, Ohio—a creative agency and a marketing consultancy that’s all about fresh ideas and moving quickly. More precisely: we help businesses grow with strategy-forward, brand, marketing, and creative solutions. By combining consultants with creatives, working side-by-side with our clients, and always keeping it honest—we can deliver results that make notable differences in revenue and brand equity.

For two years before that, I served as Executive Creative Director for Hyperquake (an international branding and marketing agency), in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Aside from spending time with family and playing indoor soccer, one of my favorite things to do is to go see places I’ve never been before. I live for the discoveries that come from travel adventures wandering the streets of a foreign town. Whether traveling for work or fun, I just can’t seem to see enough of the world. Over the years, I have visited dozens countries and hundreds of cities.
In addition to being a native English speaker, I also have a rudimentary working proficiency in both German and Spanish.
